Collective Philanthropy Project
Our 2024-2025 CPP Beneficiary is the Vietnam Health Clinic.
What is CPP?
CPP stands for "Collective Philanthropy Project." Every year, each University’s VSA chapter is given the opportunity to help raise money for a philanthropy chosen by UVSA Midwest, our parent organization. The chosen organization typically benefits Vietnamese communities and populations that are underprivileged. Through this, our Vietnamese community, as well as many others are able to collaborate and work towards the same charitable cause.
About VHC
“Vietnam Health Clinic (VHC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to expand healthcare access and services to under-resourced populations while nurturing leadership and professional development among our members. Over a span of two weeks, VHC hosts a mobile health clinic, providing medical, dental, optometric, pharmaceutical, and therapeutic services. With the help of student members and healthcare professionals along with our local community, sponsors and volunteers, we have been able to provide aid to over 17,000 patients over the past thirteen years."
Our Contribution
This school year, we have hosted several events to help raise money to support the Vietnam Health Clinic. These events include the Spicy Ramen Challenge and VSA Dodgeball Tournament.
